DAY 1: HOME CITY - LIMA
Depart Home City bound for Lima, the City of Kings. Meet and Greet upon arrival, and transfer to your hotel in fashionable Miraflores district.

DAY 2: LIMA - CUZCO
Transfer from your hotel for morning flight to CUZCO, high in the Andes where you will be met and driven to your hotel. Relax and afternoon, tour the city visiting the Inca and Colonial Museums and nearby ruins of Kkenko, Pucapucara and Sacsayhuaman.

DAY 3: CUZCO - CHILCA - WALLABAMBA
Hike along the south bank of the turbulent Vilcanota, with stunning views of 19,000 foot snow-capped Mount Veronica in the background to the Inca village of Llactapata. Porters will lug all gear leaving us free to carry light packs with daily essentials. We'll continue along Inca terraces at 9,842 feet and late afternoon, pitch camp nearby.

DAY 4: HUAYLLABAMBA - RUNKURAQAY
Our trail winds steeply through an epiphyte-laden cloud forest to Warmihuanusca at 13,500 feet, commanding superb views of Huayanay peaks and the rugged Vilcabamba Range. Later we'll descend to the Inca outpost of Runkurukay.

DAY 5: PHUYUPATAMARCA
This morning we cross a second pass at 13,000 feet and follow the Inca highway to the restored town site of Sayajmarca. The Inca Trail in this section is a white granite roadway, traversing thickly forested mountainsides. We'll camp at the ruins of Phuyupatamarca, aptly called "City above the Clouds".

DAY 6: PHUYUPATAMARCA - MACHU PICCHU
View orchids and hummingbirds as you descend the Inca Trail above the Vilcanota River. Emerge at the Gate of the Sun for your first look at Machu Picchu before making your way along the Royal Highway to the Lost City of the Incas. After dinner at campsite we'll visit the hot Springs of Aguas Calientes, a stone´s throw from Machu Pichu.

DAY 7: MACHU PICCHU - CUZCO
Return to Cuzco by rail to shop for native handicraft and final look of this wonderfully rich and historic city.

DAY 8: CUZCO - HOME CITY
At scheduled hour, transfer to Airport for flight to Home City or next destination.
