DAY 1: IQUITOS - EXPLORAMA LODGE
Meeting upon arrival and transfer to Explorama dock with a brief city tour along the way. Fifty mile journey down the mighty Amazon to Explorama Lodge. Afternoon, hike through lowland rainforest. During high water season, this is done by canoe.

DAY 2: EXPLORAMA LODGE - EXPLORNAPO CAMP
Breakfast, then boat ride down the Amazon and up the Napo River to 250.000 acre Amazon rainforest Reserve and Explornapo Camp. Visit to ReNUPeRu Ethnobotanical Garden and open canoe evening excursion to spot caiman.

DAY 3: EXPLORNAPO CAMP
After breakfast, hike to Canopy Walkway, a suspended bridge spanning 500 meters, connected by tree platforms and reaching heights of over 115 feet. Afternoon boating excursion for fishing and swimming.

DAY 4: EXPLORNAPO CAMP - EXPLORAMA LODGE
Breakfast, then morning excursion to black oxbow lake often covered with giant Victoria Regia water lilies. Afternoon boat trip back to Explorama Lodge passing by Francisco de Orellana, town named after the first Spanish explorer to see the Amazon River in 1542.

DAY 5: EXPLORAMA LODGE - IQUITOS
After breakfast, morning walk to visit local Yangua Indian Village. Afternoon, river transfer to Iquitos and transfer to airport for departure flight.
