ABOUT

Since 1971, Festival Tours has specialized in customized, tailor-made travel arrangements for individual travelers, families and groups traveling to South America, Central America, and Mexico.

However, our love for Latin America began many years earlier when our founder, Ray Heckmann, and a fellow adventurer, Cedric Philipp, bought a US Army surplus jeep and traveled overland from New York to Chile. The two young World War II veterans left Manhattan on October 30, 1946, and arrived to Santiago, Chile in mid-1947.

In addition, Festival Tours is also a leading Receptive Tour Operator for the United States and Canada.  Based in Orlando, Florida, and working with a carefully selected team of local operators throughout North America, Festival Tours offers complete ground services for visitors to the United States and Canada.

NICARAGUA SPECTACULAR

"Indeed, Nicaragua is now welcoming visitors with unspoiled coasts, socially conscious upscale resorts, charming colonial towns and its own live volcanoes.  Visitors are drawn to Nicaragua's natural beauty, affordable prices and reputation for being the next Costa Rica, as coined by articles in the consumer press. Like its neighbor to the south, Nicaragua has ecological attractions such as live volcanoes, enormous lakes, rain forests and abundant wildlife For now, however, Nicaragua offers an authentic experience with inexpensive accommodations and cheap meals, even in tourist areas."
