Day 1   HOME CITY - PANAMA
Meet and Greet upon arrival to Panama's International Airport, and transfer to your Hotel COUNTRY INN & SUITES BY CARLSON PANAMA CANAL in Panama City

Day 2   PANAMA CITY TOUR AND MIRAFLORES VISITOR CENTER
Today, your adventure starts with a full day City Tour.  We begin by visiting the ruins of Old Panama, the first city built on the Pacific Ocean shore in 1519 by Pedro Arias Davila, a Spanish Governor, and subsequently destroyed in 1671 by the infamous pirate, Henry Morgan, who set it on fire.  Then we continue to the Casco Antiguo to enjoy strolling along alleys and colonial buildings, ruins and streets od stone, museums and colonial churches where three styles of construction are exquisitely combined, the Spanish, French and Italian.  A stop at the folk market before lunch at typical Panamaniam restaurant.  Afternoon, we continue to the Miraflores Visitor Center, where visitors have the opportunity to observe transiting vessels from a distance of only a few meters and learn first hand about the various operations of the Panama Canal, its colorful history, construction, importance to world markets and important watershed.  B/L

Day 3   DAY BIRDING
Early in the morning, depart for one of the world's top birding spots where for several years in a row world record bird counts have been set for a 24 hour period viewing up to 357 different species of birds. Before returning to your hotel, more birdwatching at Summit Ponds.  B/BL

Day 4   ANTON VALLEY AND CANOPY ADVENTURE
Just two hours form Panama City via the Panamerican Highway, Anton Valley rises over 600 meters above sea level.  Here you can enjoy many activities including visiting El Macho Waterfall and Canopy Adventure, the petroglyphs, El Nispero Palnt Nursery and Zoo, the thermal water wells, and the colorful craft market (held Sunday only).   B/L

Day 5   PANAMA - HOME CITY
At the appropiate hour, departure transfer to the Airport for flight homeward or to next destination.
