In Colombia altitude defines attitude. While Bogota (2650m) is perpetually chilly and Medellin (1485m) enjoys eternal spring, Cali (1005m) remains sultry 12 months of the year. And that's why Colombia's third-largest city wears less and parties more than its rivals. In their relentless pursuit of a good time, caleños have adopted salsa music as their own, and in the Juanchito district you can dance until dawn seven nights of the week, no questions asked. While largely modern and industrial, the city does have some interesting colonial buildings, and the tree-lined banks of the Río Cali make for a fine stroll. A hidden gem is the city's excellent zoo, which is devoted almost exclusively to Colombian wildlife. If you were a caged mammal in South America this is where you'd want to be.

Day 1: HOME CITY – CALI
Meet ‘n Greet upon arrival and Transfer to the INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL CALI. Balance of the day free to relax, shop, stroll and explore attractive tree-lined boulevards and sample one of many restaurants just steps from your hotel.
Day 2: CALI – CITY TOUR
Three Hour Guided City Tour of Cali highlighting its most interesting sites. Our visit begins downtown and the attractive Plaza de Caycedo, the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle, the Church of San Francisco, and the Church of La Merced. Continuing to the San Antonio neighborhood, the impressive Sebastian de Belalcazar overlook, and the hotel area. To the south, we visit the site of the Pan American games, the Plaza De Toros (Bull Fighting Stadium), finer residential areas and universities. Then continuing to the north and 6th Avenue, the Granada neighborhood and Solidarity Monument, and the Avenue of the Americas before returning to our hotel. (B)
Day 3: CALI
Today, it's "adios" to this exciting, thriving city. At appointed time, Transfer to the Airport for flight homeward or to your next destination. (B)
