DAY 1: BUENOS AIRES - TRELEW - PUERTO MADRYN
Depart on flight to Trelew. Meet 'n Greet upon arrival and Transfer to Punto Tombo on the Pacific coast. Enjoy the comical Magallanic Penguins, whose rookery is said to gather over two million specimens. Then continue to Puerto Madryn and the Hotel Peninsula for two night stay.
DAY 2: PUERTO MADRYN
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before departure on a fabulous full day tour to Peninsula Valdes, Punta Norte or Caleta Valdes Fauna Reserve (depending on where the fauna is at the moment), continental habitat of magnificent sea-elephants. These fantastic beasts weigh between one and six tons, and grow to nearly six meters in length. Continue to Punta Piramide, splendid rookery of playful sea lions. In the months of September, October and November, marvel at the breathtaking Wright Whales in Golfo Nuevo, where every year at this time they come to breed. B
DAY 3: PUERTO MADRYN - USHUAIA
Morning breakfast, followed by Transfer to Trelew for flight to Ushuaia, the hemisphere's southernmost city on the shores of the Beagle Channel. Meet 'n Greet at the airport and Transfer to Hotel Las Hayas. Brief City Tour of this southernmost city on the shores of the Beagle Channel, literally at the "End of the World" with the magnificent Andes Mountains in the background. B
DAY 4: USHUAIA
Morning breakfast before departing for day tour to rugged Tierra del Fuego National Park. Visit Rio Pipo Valley, Ensenada Bay and the Verde and Negra Lagoons. Then by catamaran, navigate along the Beagle Channel for a close up view of the Bridges and Les Eclaireus Lighthouse. Return to Ushuaia for overnight. B
DAY 5: USHUAIA - CALAFATE
Morning breakfast followed by morning at leisure before transfer to the airport for flight to Calafate. Meet 'n Greet upon arrival and Transfer to Hotel Los Alamos. Afternoon and evening free to shop, stroll and explore on your own. B
DAY 6: CALAFATE
Morning breakfast before departure by bus along the beautiful Brazo Rico coastal road ringing the Argentine Lake. Arrival at the Canal de los Tempranos and the marvelously imposing Perito Moreno Glacier. Short hike to admire the beauty of the glacier close up. Return to Calafate for overnight. B
Optional Tour is offered to navigate up close to the Glacier Walls for a brief mini-trek atop the Glacier itself with direction from local experienced guides.
DAY 7: CALAFATE
Morning breakfast followed by Transfer to Puerto Bandera to thrill at a full day excursion across the Argentine Lake up to the Upsala and Onelli Glaciers. We navigate up close to these magnificent blue-white walls of ice for unforgettable views of this wonder of nature. Return to Calafate for overnight. B
DAY 8: CALAFATE - BUENOS AIRES
Morning breakfast, and then Transfer to the airport for flight to Buenos Aires. B
